QD MARINE's technical department boasts state-of-the-art equipment and software, all run by highly qualified engineers and technicians driven by passion for their work.
CAD 2d and 3d drawing software are the tools that bring to life the creativity Aand ideas that here are the absolute protagonist.
Working with a 3d optical scanner with an accuracy of 0.1mm and 3d mechanical modeling and drawing software, our team is able to start from designs provided by the customer or from 3d scans made directly on the part or on board the vessels themselves, then develop the mathematics that will then be the basis for the realization of a product of the highest quality and precision finding together with the customer customized and efficient solutions both in economic and functional terms.
In our department we make not only the parts related to our in-house production, we are able to support customers in prototyping and mass production.
THE 3d SCANNING
3D scanning by using a state-of-the-art optical scanner makes possible to directly capture the mathematics of a part with an accuracy of 0.1mm.
Thanks to the reverse enginering process, it is possible to reproduce the scanned object or perfectly match a new component to an existing one on board.
